SLIMMER Evie Atterby has lots of reasons to celebrate after losing 3 and 1/2st in under a year and being crowned Louth’s Young Slimmer of the Year.

Now Evie, 18, can look forward to her A Level results and her place at Harper Adams University College, knowing that she has already achieved her goal of being slim for her final school prom.

The competition celebrates Slimming World’s bright young things, recognising 15-21 year olds who’ve made positive lifestyle changes by adopting healthier eating habits and getting active.

Life was very different for Evie just a year ago. She was unhappy with her size, her self confidence was on the floor and she felt like the odd one out with her friends. She says: “I have lost just over 3 and a half stone since I joined and I plan to stick to the diet now for fear of being obese again.

“I look at the old pictures of me now and I am horrified.”

Evie added: “Being Young Slimmer of the Year means everything to me. I am 4 dress sizes smaller and could not have done it without Slimming World; thank you!”

Everyone from the age of 11 to 111 (or older!) is welcome at the Jane’s Slimming World group at London Road Pavilion every Thursday.
