MABLETHORPE and Sutton on Sea residents can keep a look out this weekend for one of the famous tall ships, as the Eye of the Wind sails past on its journey to Whitby.
The famous ship will pass our coastline as it journeys from its dock in Weymouth as part of its centenary celebrations.
The German-built topsail schooner undertakes a number of expeditions each year, doubling up as an adventure holiday for nautical enthusiasts as it sails round the Caribbean.
It is expected to reach Whitby this weekend and locals can keep an eye out for the illustrious ship on Friday and Saturday.
