Thousands of pounds worth of hand tools, a red 500cc quad bike and a Stihl chainsaw were stolen during a break-in at a farm in Anderby over the weekend.

PC Calley Murray is appealing for information about the burglary that took place overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

The thieves cut the lock on the yard gate and then forced entry to an outbuilding, from where a number of items were stolen.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or who has been approached by someone selling hand tools, is asked to contact PC Murray on 101, quoting incident number 114 of August 4.
