THE LEADER is now officially backing the campaign to keep Louth Ambulance Station open.
After heavy local support and a newly formed action group entitled ‘Keep Calm and Save Louth Ambulance Station’, we’re behind the bid.
East Midlands Ambulance Service recently announced plans to close a number of stations across the area, operating ambulances from major hubs including Skegness and Lincoln and from there, local deployment points.
Louth resident Jackie Featherstone has since launched herself into a campaign to keep the station open.
