The first Driving for the Disabled group in Lincolnshire has officially been given the go ahead and this new group will cater for both ambulant and wheelchair users.
The group was authorised, with the assessors checking on all aspects of safety, comfort and the ability of drivers, helpers, vehicles and ponies. It has taken almost a year to achieve the standard required.
The new group will be based at Ulceby Grange, near Alford and is hosting an Open Day on Wednesday, July 16, from 10.30am-12.30pm. This is your opportunity to see what goes on and be able to discuss becoming an able-bodied whip or helper, For more information, call Jeanette on 01507 462407.
