THE fourth annual charity football match in memory of Liam Parrish will take on Sunday, June 3 at Legbourne playing field.
Liam (above) died in a motorbike crash on a trip to the Isle of Man TT races in June 2008, aged 23.
The match will kick off at 1pm, but the day will begin from 11am onwards and will include a variety of fun and games including a live band and BBQ, sumo wrestling, cake stalls, face painting and much more.
Last year’s event raised more than £1,400 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and Liam’s family would like this year’s event to be bigger and better.
To coincide with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee bank holiday weekend, a party will also be held at Legbourne village hall from 7pm, including a live band, hot roast, games and bar.
