Lincolnshire Police will be holding a free saddle and tack marking session in Louth on Friday February 20.
The event will take place at the Lincolnshire Rural Activities Centre, Kenwick Hill, from 6pm to 8pm.
PCSO Sally Read said: “It is a great opportunity for horse owners to get expensive tack and equipment marked. Marking acts as a deterrent against theft and, of course, helps police to identify stolen tack if it is recovered.
“The event also gives people an excellent chance to encourage owners to join Horsewatch. The more members we have, the better we will be at tackling horse related crime and thefts”.
