A renewed campaign has been launched to try and find a missing memorial trophy which is suspected to have been stolen in Louth.
The trophy, which is presented following a golf tournament in Woodthorpe every year, is in memory of Louth man Bryn Allison who sadly passed away at the age of 36 following a battle with cancer in June 2006.
Following this year’s tournament, the competitors visited The Brown Cow in Newmarket and it went missing from outside the pub.
Mark Corby, who participates in the annual competition and was a close friend of Bryn, said: “We have done it for the last seven years and it’s a mixture of friends and family that play . We all chipped in to buy the £170 trophy.
“It was a lovely summers day therefore we did the presentation outside The Brown Cow, and we have a feeling it may of been taken from off one of the tables there”.
Contact police on 101 if you have any information about the missing trophy.
