A series of fun boot camps to teach youngsters importance of exercise and nutrition are to take place in Louth and Mablethorpe as part of East Lindsey District Council’s FitKids project.
Aimed at youngsters aged seven to 12, the project is aimed at teaching youngsters and their families the importance of physical activity such through sports, beach games and swimming as well as the value of eating healthily.
The series of boot camps will give youngsters a taster of what FitKids is all about in a day of physical activity with a healthy lunch.
Boot camps have already been set up in Mablethorpe on September 3, and Skegness on August 27. The date for a session in Louth is yet to be confirmed.
Regular FitKids sessions will then resume in September.
