Gardens open for St Andrew’s children’s Hospice

Five gardens are to be open in Benniworth by kind permission of the owners on Sunday June 30 in aid of St Andrews Children’s Hospice at Grimsby and everyone is welcome to enjoy a day in the village exploring and browsing as they wish from 12noon to 5pm.

Admission is just £3 for all five gardens including Springfield Farm where the organiser Margaret Pinney will have a home made cake stall and plant stall and teas will be served to guests as they take a break from looking round the gardens.

Saint Andrews is the only hospice in the county providing facilities for terminally ill children and their families and while enjoying a day in the village in the Wolds visitors will also be supporting the worthy charity.

It is desperately in need of funds to enable it to continue providing the essential care and support necessary for those who need help and the support of all will be appreciated.
