On Saturday, August 8, friends and supporters of the ‘Pudding Club’ in Gayton le Marsh near Louth held a

fete.

This event was held at the local village hall.

Kathy and Rick Crust kindly offered their field for car parking throughout the day for fete goers.

The day also included a range of traditional village games and pony rides.

The fete was opened by Tony Cree (ex- Parish Chair).

The event provided good old fashioned fun, music and food.

The turned out to be a big success, with lots of local people in attendance, enjoying the fun and festivities on a glorious sunnt day.

Including generous donations, a final total of £900 was raised from the

event. £750 of this total will go to The British Heart Foundation.

Then the remaining £150 will be used to purchase a new barbeque.

This is aimed to help enhance the hall facilities at Gayton le Marsh.
