The Geoff Findon Bikeathon was held on Sunday (June 15) and has raised £317 for the Louth and District Hospice.

The event included three bike rides, one 50-mile ride, a 30-mile ride and a 10-mile family ride which was the most popular ride of the day. In all 31 entrants took part. The event was held in memory of Geoff Findon, co-organiser of last year’s Louth and District Hospice Bikeathon. Geoff was a keen cycler and a long time member of the Cyclists’ Touring Club.

Tim Newbury, chair of the CTC said: “I would just like to say thank you to all those who took part in the cycle rides, too all the volunteers from Louth and Grimsby Cyclists’ Touring Club and mainly to Coun Doreen Stephenson and Philip Burman of The Louth and District Hospice.”
