Grace is the East Lindsey Young Musician of the Year

PIANIST Grace Alexander won the East Lindsey Young Musician of the Year Competition held at Louth Methodist Church on Saturday.

Grace is a pupil at King Edward VI Grammar School and lives in New Waltham.

Second was oboe player Emma Brown who goes to KEVIS and lives in Louth.

The competition is organised by Louth Male Voice Choir.

Results: Junior Event 1st Florence Hand (winner of the Arthur Gilbert Memorial Trophy), 2nd Courtney Clare, 3rd Nadine Hartzenberg; Intermediate Event 1st Gawtham Ravivaruman (winner of Henry Brown Memorial Trophy), 2nd Willow Mickel, 3rd Rose Broughton; Seniors: 1st Grace Alexander (winner of the Brian Wood Trophy and Young Musician of the Year), 2nd Emma Brown, 3rd Lili Barras-Hargan.
