Former Grimsby Town FC legend, Kevin Kilmore, has taken over the Pack Horse pub in Eastgate and is set to relaunch it this summer.

The former striker and midfielder, who played for the club between 1979 and 1983, took on the pub in May.

Kevin has previously run pubs in Grimsby and Scunthorpe, and his daughter, Nicola, was previously the duty manager at the local Wetherspoons.

Kevin said he felt “a mixture of excitement and nerves” ahead of the summer relaunch,

The pub will have a food menu, with meat and vegetables sourced locally, and live football on Sky Sports and BT Sports will be shown on match days.
