THE health benefits of taking part in organised walks in Louth are being stressed by the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership.

The charity, which helps to improve sporting opportunities and activities across the county, says there are several health walks being run in Louth.

Trained volunteer Health Walk leaders lead free short walks to include everybody regardless of ability, in a friendly and sociable environment.

There are two walk groups in Louth which meet at the Meridian Leisure Centre and Hubbard’s Hill, Crowtree Lane.

There is also the East Lindsey Heart Support Group.

Health Walks are funded by NHS Lincolnshire which means that they are free to attend.
