MACMILLAN cancer nurses will be holding an outreach session at Alford Library on Tuesday, offering support and advice to local people.

The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service partnership with Carers Connect, will visit the library in South Market Place, Alford.

It takes place between 10am and 1.30pm this Tuesday, September 20.

Nurses and a benefits advisor will be on hand with displays and leaflets on the day and can answer questions and give information on the subject. And they are urging local people with worries and concerns to make use of the opportunity to find out more about the help on offer.

Fran Sharp, support facilitator at United Lincolnshire Hospitals, explained: “We want to support the needs of local people, and encourage anyone who has any questions about cancer or cancer care to come along and see us.”
