MARIE Curie Nurses are asking local people to support them this Christmas.
The nurses will make a difference to local terminally ill people over the festive season.
You can support the nurses by sending your used stamps, old mobile phones or your unwanted Christmas gifts, which can be used as raffle prizes, to the Marie Curie Cancer Care Lincolnshire Fundraising Office, 7C Commercial Road, Grantham Lincolnshire NG31 6DB or call 01476 576000 for more information.
Stuart Wyle, Community Fundraiser for the charity in Lincolnshire, said: “Throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays, Marie Curie Nurses will be providing high quality nursing, totally free, to give local terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families.
“Our nurses’ support patients 365 days of the year but the care a Marie Curie Nurse can provide to patients and their families during the Christmas period is invaluable.”
