The annual Heneage Arms Sleigh Race took place amidst brilliant sunshine.
The event is held every year in support of The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. A total of nine teams took part. The course runs from the start at Sixhills through to The Heneage Arms in Hainton.
Covering the two mile plus course, the fastest team were The Mickey Mouse Runners from The Louth AC completing in 13.34 mins.
Second home were Farm Gate from Sixhills in 14.03 mins, third John’s Kiddies from Louth AC 14.16 mins and fourth The Hainton Has Beens in 14.17 mins. Other teams were The Stubbs from Hainton, The Olympic Challenge from West Torrington, Deb’s Zumba’s from Hainton, Chavelf from Hainton and Cool Running from Lincoln/Louth.
The prize for the best dressed Sleigh was won by The Olympic Challenge judged by Chrissy Yates of C4 Images Photography.
A total of £381.14p was presented to The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
A Christmas Fayre was held at The Heneage Arms, from the proceeds of this a presentation of £87 was made to three charities represented there, the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, The British Heart Foundation and LIVES.
The Heneage Arms is a Community Pub and the committee would like to thank all those who gave up their time to help and participate over the weekend.
