FIFTY three three excited young people, ranging in age from 18 months old to early teens had lots of fun at the Halloween Party in East Barkwith Village Hall on Saturday.
They came not only from East Barkwith, but surrounding villages too with everyone spending time getting dressed for the occasion and the winner of the competition for the best outfit was Jessica Flack for girls and Kyle McGowan for boys.
The party was organised by Sally Ward who decorated the hall with the help of her children Katie, Rebecca and James with pumpkin lanterns adding to the atmosphere and Sally also prepared and donated the party food.
The buffet table was filled with a selection of sweet and savoury treats including sausage rolls, sandwiches, crisps and a variety of cakes and biscuits which the party people enjoyed between games and disco dancing.
Musical games, especially statues and bumps were very popular and the £53 Sally raised was donated to the Village Hall Management Committee as her contribution to its upkeep.
