Join in the longest day with the Louth Leader

What ingredients do you have to mix together to get a typical Louth day?

Which places have to feature, what noises would you have to hear and what sights do you need to see to know that you are in the Capital of the Wolds?

The answer to that must surely vary for each individual but I think you might be surprised at how many reoccurring elements we all have in the lives we live right here in Louth.

The Leader will be marking the longest day of the year with a unique project – and we would love a bit of help from you.

On Friday, June 21, our journalists will be out and about recording some aspect of life in Louth.

What we would like you, our army of readers, to do is join in and send us your own short clip. It could be from your work place, favourite chippy, a town charity or a park bench – if it means Louth to you then let us share it.

Our digital team will then be combining them to make one mini-movie summing up the longest day.

The longest day in Louth 2013 will be preserved for posterity by the Leader but it is always great to get a little help from our friends.

Email your short video clips, between 15 and 40 seconds long, to charles.ladbrook@jpress.co.uk
