Join in the fun with the Sutton Railway Group which is run by a number of men who all share a broad interest in ‘Heritage Transport.’
The group meets at St Clements Church Hall in Sea Lane, Sutton on Sea and currently has 16 members.
Meetings involve either a chat, a talk, or just watching a DVD.
They are looking for additional members with similar interests to join. If you worked in the transport industry or just remember the last train leaving Sutton on Sea, then this could be the group for you.
Their next meeting is this Thursday (October 1) from 7–9pm. There are no membership fees, just £2 per night, which includes refreshments.
The group eventually aims to build a membership big enough to enable coach trips to visit preserved railways and museums.
For more information, please email; firstname.lastname@example.org or just turn up on the night.
