PUPILS from Kidgate Primary School in Louth have supported this year’s Rotary International Shoe Box Appeal.
Having made up 34 boxes the school has helped the appeal, which sends shoe boxes to Eastern Europe to be given to children and older people.
The pupils have even taken the time to decorate the boxes, hoping they will put a smile on the face of the recipient – who may have never received a special gift before.
Kidgate has been one of many local primary schools which have taken part in the appeal.
Hundreds of people also brought boxes to the Leader office for Rotary to collect.
