In support of National Road Safety Week, the Louth Neighbourhood Policing Team organised a road safety competition with local primary schools.

The competition, which was run in partnership with Halfords of Louth, involved children in two age categories designing a poster about cycle safety.

And the creative winners, who received cycle safety equipment like helmets and fluorescent clothing were, 5-7 years age category, Uma McDaidare from Lacey Gardens Junior School, pictured left with runner-up Bonnie Etteridge and in 
8-11 years, Cameron Kliszewicz. Rosie Brocklebank was runner-up.
