Letter: A moving tribute to Barry Brown
EDITOR - I was so sad to read of the death of Barry Brown.
Barry was without doubt one of the best all round sportsmen to have been born and bred in Louth if not the very best. I was very fortunate to play both football and cricket with Barry such a talented player but always played for the good of the team. Barry also played table tennis and snooker to a high level.
But Barry was much more than a sportsman he was a friend to so many it was always a pleasure to meet Barry and he always made you feel he was pleased to see you.
He will be so greatly missed.
