THE THIRD annual charity football match to celebrate the life of Liam Parrish will take place on Sunday, June 5.
His memory still lives on through Liam’s many family and friends. He sadly died aged 23 in a motorbike crash on a trip to the Isle of Man TT races in June 2008.
In a statement to publicise the match the family said: “After three years since Liam’s death, it is still nice to know that family and friends still remember his life this way through playing football which was a passion of his.
“Liam is truly loved and missed by all his family and friends.”
The event at Legbourne playing fields starts at 1pm where there will be stalls and attractions including a raffled off signed Guy Martin t-shirt.
All proceeds going to the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Entrance fee is £1 and the match will kick off at 3pm.
