Remember someone special this Christmas with St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospi8ce Light Up a Life celebrations in the local area.

As the festive season approaches, St Barnabas takes time to remember those who are for whatever reason not able to be with us this Christmas.

They celebrate their lives and remember them at a time of year when we may miss those most. They also look to the future and thoughts are with those cared for by St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.

This year is no different, preparations are underway for one of the best loved, most meaningful and poignant events in the St Barnabas calendar – the annual Light up a Life celebrations across the county.

Now in its 16th year, they have seen the celebration services grow, with nine taking place countywide from the south in Spalding to the coastal area of Sutton on Sea.

This year they also celebrate the 13th year of the Lincoln Torchlight Procession

A spokesperson said: “Whilst we remember those we have known and loved, we also look to the future, and our thoughts are with those we care for at St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.

“Our Light up a life appeal is unique and very special to us as it takes place in the weeks running up to Christmas and not only may we feel comforted by remembering a loved one and dedicating a light to them on our Trees of Life, but your donation allows St Barnabas Hospice to continue its vital services of caring for patients and their families.

“There is no minimum donation asked of, any contribution you can make towards our £12.18 per minute of care will make a huge difference.

“If, you would like more information abut these celebratory services or to shine a light for a loved one please contact the Fundraising team on 01522 540300 or visit www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk.

“Each loved one remembered will receive a celebration card and each donor will receive a single silver photo star.

“All donations from Light up a Life will help us care for patients and their families across Lincolnshire.”Light up a Life Services for the East Lindsey area will take place as follows -
