A charity that helps people with disabilities has been given a huge boost, thanks to a £825 donation.

TWG Wealth Management gave the money to the Lincolnshire Wolds Riding for the Disabled Association group, which is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary next year.

The donation was presented to group representatives by Nick Gibson and will be put towards a new carriage and various pieces of equipment.

Lincolnshire Wolds RDA was set up to deliver therapy and enjoyment to people with disabilities, and recently gave a short display at the Revesby Show.

The show’s organising committee has been a long-time supporter of the group and helped fund a new lightweight carriage, which has been adapted for wheelchair users.

As well as carriage driving, the group’s members receive instruction in riding, grooming and horse care, while enjoying a holiday at the Clwyd Special Riding Centre every year.

The group relies on help, donations and legacies to deliver its services.

Its committee would welcome new riders and volunteers.
