LINCOLNSHIRE Rural and Community Touring will be visiting communities in East Lindsey including Louth over the next few months, giving local people and visitors to the area an opportunity to enjoy high quality entertainment.
From Autumn 2012 until Spring 2013, the programme will include 37 performances, such as A Midsummers Night Dream, The Secret Garden and The Number 26 Bus to Paraguay.
It is the 12th year East Lindsey District Council, in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, has supported the scheme along with Lincolnshire’s County, Arts Council England and local volunteers. Lincolnshire Rural and Community Touring is also accredited to East Lindsey Live – East Lindsey’s festival programme.
Promoter from The Trinity Centre in Louth, Polly Aron, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting several events as part of the Rural Touring Scheme in 2012-13. Being part of the Rural Touring Scheme provides a fantastic opportunity to bring internationally-renowned artists to smaller venues and make great music, comedy and drama available to the whole community.”
