The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway Society has arranged a coach trip to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway near Skipton on Sunday September 28. The price is £30 per person, which includes coach and train fare.
The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway runs over part of the former Skipton-Ilkley line which was closed in 1965. Trains now travel between Embsay station and the award-winning station at Bolton Abbey.
Your journey will take you through picturesque Yorkshire Dales scenery. Bolton Abbey station is the ideal stopping off point for a pleasant one and a half mile walk to the ruins of the 12th Century priory.
The coach will leave from the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway station car park at Ludborough.
