The Gatehouse Cafe at Manby, run by Linkage Community Trust, raised £457 for Louth & District Hospice. The money was raised from Easter and Christmas raffles.
The staff and students at the cafe thanked customers for their support. Raffle prizes were donated by staff member Geraldine Howard. Hospice trustee Doreen Stephenson said: “This is a terrific gesture by all concerned and the money donated will be used to support the work of the hospice.”
Geraldine said: “My staff colleagues and I are very proud of the work of the students when they were able to sell raffle tickets to all the customers as well as help with the food service.”
