A LIVES music night held recently raised a whopping £685 for the first responders in Sutton on Sea.

Over 80 people attended the night held at the Enterprise Hall in Sutton on December 21.

Local acts Music and Mirth, Paul Andrew, Peter Lee and the GeriPatricks were among the music line-up.

There was also a grand raffle, auction and free chips courtesy of Waldo’s fish and chip restaurant.

Sutton on Sea LIVES co-ordinator Keith Auvache said: A lot of other people worked very hard and contributed to making this a real cracker of a Christmas fun evening.

“Our local community folk turned up, together with our Mayor Irene Burnett, and district councillor Andrew Ferryman, on the evening to support us. So a very big thank you to you all.”
