1953 East Coast Floods: Video - Flood exhibition at Meridale Centre in Sutton on Sea

Waiting for Video...

With the 60th anniversary of the 1953 East Coast Floods coming up tomorrow (Thursday, January 31), the Mablethorpe Leader presents to you a special interview with flood survivor John Monk MBe.

John organised a special anniversary flood exhibition that was held at the Meridale Centre in Sutton on Sea over the weekend.

The fantastic three-day event took visitors back in time to each phrase of the floods as it happened as you walk through the room.

John explains to Mablethorpe Leader reporter, Chloe West all about the exhibition, the success it has had over three days and talks about some history of the floods that took 42 lives on the East Coast.

Watch out on Thursday, for part two of this special interview.
