Community projects can now apply for a share of £235,000 which has been made available by East Lindsey District Council.
The money is available in the form of two grants, one for ‘not for profit’ organisations and the other to local community groups.
For small and easy to deliver projects, groups can apply directly to their district councillors, who have an allowance of £2,000. Larger projects can receive up to £8,000 of funding, which can meet up to 50 per cent of their total costs.
These workshops will be held at the Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth on April 26 between 10am-11.30am, Horncastle Sports Pavilion on April 25 between 7pm-8.30pm, Chapel St Leonards Village Hall on April 23 from noon-1.30pm, and Holton le Clay Parish Council Office on April 28 from 7pm-8.30pm
Deadlines for all applications for community grants are May 20 for round one and September 16 for round two. Groups interested in the workshops or finding out more information should email, email@example.com or call 01507 613073. To download an application pack visit www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/grants.
