A LEVEL RESULTS: Alford Grammar students '˜on top of county'

The headteacher of Queen Elizabeth's Grammar in Alford has congratulated his students on being at the top of their game. '¨Angie Francis, said: 'I would like to publicly congratulate the students on their excellent results and wish them continued success in their chosen courses and career paths.

“As for Team GB in the Olympics, expectations are always high at Queen Elizabeth’s and our A Level students have also excelled, placing themselves at the top in the county.

“I would also like to thank the staff for all their hard work and support, which enables our students to make such outstanding progress.”
“Once again there was a 100 per cent A-Level pass rate the grammar school, with 80 percent of grades at A*-B. 
Three students gained 3 A*s each: Daniel Hissey and David Kirkup (both also with an A) and Phoebe Young.
