A-LEVEL RESULTS: Exceptional results for Alford Grammar pupils

Once again there was a 100 per cent A-Level pass rate at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar in Alford with a very impressive 80 per cent of grades at A*-B.

The school have said that this definitely puts them right at the top of the table for being one of the best school’s in the whole county for A-Level results.

Headteacher, Angie Francis, said: “I would like to publicly congratulate the students on their excellent results and wish them continued success in their chosen courses and career paths.

“As for Team GB in the Olympics, expectations are always high at Queen Elizabeth’s and our A-Level students have also excelled, placing themselves at the top in the county.

Three students gained 3 A*s each and these were Daniel Hissey and David Kirkup (both also with an A grade) and Phoebe Young.
