Garth Green, 63, of Nelson Way, Grimsby, pleaded not guilty to the charge of causing the death of Margaret Allsop, 75, by careless or inconsiderate driving on December 12 last year.

Mrs Allsop was in the East Midlands Ambulance Service vehicle when it ended up in a ditch on the A16, Boston Road, Sibsey, at 2.58am.

Green, who was represented by Roy Foreman of Roy Foreman and Co. Solicitors, Grimsby, spokes only to confirm his name, address and plea.
