Animals rehomed from Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home
It was a busy month at The Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home in North Somercotes during February, they are full with a waiting list for both cats and dogs.
Two adoptions they were very pleased with were that of 15-year-old Dotty and 18-year-old Bruno.
They came to the Ark a year ago after their owner died. After taking a little longer to home, owing to it being imperative that the two lifelong friends remain together, they are now living happily together.
The Ark monthly newsletter said: “Another re-home that proves that age is no barrier is that of a 10-year-old cocker spaniel, Reggie who came to us in the morning and was safe in his new home (that had already had a home check) by tea time!”
