FIRE crews rushed to the scene of a second arson attack in a day which saw another beach hut destroyed on the coast.
The chalet in Sandhurst Road, Sandilands, was torched shortly after 11pm on Friday night, and has been completely destroyed.
This came just hours after a beach hut in Furlongs Road, Sutton on Sea was torched at 1.25am on Friday morning.
Police are treating both fires as arson attacks.
Crews from Mablethorpe and Alford attended the Sandhurst Road fire and reported severe damage to the brick-built beach hut.
A beach hut in Sandilands as well as a grade two listed building in Sutton on Sea were destroyed by similar attacks in June.
