ASC Renewables proposal for wind farm at Tetney

PEOPLE can find out about proposals to build a wind farm with up to 13 wind turbines.

ASC Renewables want to build it on farmland next to a sewage treatment works at Newton Marsh, Tetney.

The company is holding two consultation events for the public.

The first is on Tuesday, May 22 at Tetney Village Hall from 3.30pm-8pm.

The second is at Humberston Country Club in Humberston on Wednesday, May 23 from 10.30am-2pm.

Mike Denny, operations director for ASC, said: “We have yet to complete the full suite of environmental studies required for a planning application, but believe that early consultation with the local community is important.

“As an early indication only, we currently envisage the development to be up to 13 wind turbines; however, this number will be refined as we go through the planning process and complete environmental studies.”
