Become a lifeguard during week-long course in Louth

People can learn the full National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) during a week-long course to be held in Louth.

The Meridian Leisure Centre is running the course starting on Monday, April 8 for anyone aged 16 years or above.

The course, run by East Lindsey District Council, is being held from 9am until 5pm between Monday, April 8 and Friday, April 12.

Assessments will take place on Saturday, April 13.

The course costs £220 per person for those with a keycard and £260 for non keycard holders and provides the qualification needed to become a lifeguard.

A swimming competence test will need to be completed prior to the start of the course.

Courses in keisure operations lead to nationally recognised qualifications and these can help you boost your CV, improve your job prospects and build your confidence.
