Over 2,000 residents and holiday-makers flocked into Mablethorpe last week to see the hoards of bikes that arrived for the town’s first Bike Night.

The Bike Night was organised by the Mablethorpe Area Partnership Community Interest Company known as MAP CIC in conjunction with Mablethorpe Bikers.

Town Manager Karen Froggatt said: “It was our first bike night and we were extremely pleased with the attendance.

“There was a great atmosphere on the night and a good time was had by all. I am sure we will include the event on our calendar next year and aim to make it bigger and better. “

Karen added: “A big thank you goes out to all of the volunteers, without whom this event could not have taken place and to all those businesses that supported the event.”
