Binbrook joins midwives petition
Members of Binbrook WI have got behind a national campaign highlighting the chronic shortage of midwives and urging the government to do more.
They have gathered almost 300 signatures on a petition for the employment of more midwives, which join thousands of others sent to WI headquarters from WIs across the UK.
“We are grateful to everyone who signed the petition and the local businesses in Binbrook and Brookenby that helped promote it,” said WI secretary Hilary Harris.
