BREAKING NEWS: Murder inquiry launched after baby’s death in Sutton on Sea

A MURDER inquiry has been launched after a 14-month-old girl from Sutton on Sea died from a suspected brain injury.
The baby, who has not yet been named, was taken from her Sandringham Drive home to Grimsby Hospital on Saturday night and later transferred to Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where she sadly died on Monday evening.
Lincolnshire Police say a 30-year-old local man has been arrested in suspicion of murder and was being interviewed at Skegness Police Station today (Tuesday).
Sutton on Sea north ward’s Town and district councillor, Coun Andrew Ferryman, has told the Leader of his shock at hearing the news this morning.
