Brookenby man found guilty of assaulting woman

Bollan appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on April 27, where he was found guilty of assaulting Ulrika Coulson by beating her in Brookenby on August 25 last year.

He had pleaded not guilty to the charge since his appearance at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on October 22.

Following his conviction, he was given a two year conditional discharge, ordered to pay £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

He was also given a restraining order which legally prevents him from contacting Ms Coulson, or encouraging anybody else to contact her through any means, other than through a third party for child contact arrangements.

The two-year restraining order will last until April 26, 2018.
