Burgh on Bain community centre opens
BURGH on Bain now has a new community centre within St Helen’s Church and residents were invited to celebrate the partial conversion when a plaque was presented by County Coun Hugo Marfleet.
Neill Shipley, chairman of the parish meeting, and Mike Taylor have rallied the community for funding.
Competition winners included Hilary Hughes, Cereda Kemp, Terri Henry, Sam Bailey, Max Bailey, Ashleigh Ponder and Scarlett Marfleet who got jubilee medals.
