Burglar disturbed by householder in Louth
A burglar was disturbed by the home owner while trying to get in through a downstairs window of a property in Stewton Lane, Louth.
The attempted break in was reported at about 5.40pm yesterday (Saturday), says PCSO Sally Hewitt of the Louth Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team.
She said: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing. If you saw anything or anyone suspicious in this area during that time, please contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 292 of 13/02/2016.
“Please remain vigilant, if you see or hear anything suspicious in your neighbourhood, please contact us immediately on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
