There were only 11 people present at the East Barkwith Village Hall Management Committee Annual Meeting one of whom asked if he could speak as he thought he was attending a meeting of the Parish Council.

He referred to the lack of progress in providing a BMX Track for the young people which the Parish Council had promised to investigate and was informed that it was an issue the village hall committee was going to discuss during the closed session. The treasurer was not able to present a report for the third year in succession as the financial year had just ended the previous day and she reminded the committee that the AGM had previously been held in November to give time for the accounts to be prepared and presented to the public meeting. It was agreed that this would be considered.  The annual fundraising event had been cancelled due to the inclement weather.
