Campaigners say ‘no’ as wind farm inquiry begins
Protesters at Tedder Hall, Manby.
Campainers have made their feelings known as a planning inquiry over a proposed wind farm development near Gayton le Marsh gets underway.
The Marsh Wind Farm Action Group handed in objection letters to Coun Tony Bridges at Tedder Hall as the eight-day inquiry started last week.
A national planning inspector is set to decide whether EnergieKontor UK can go ahead with plans to build eight 115m high turbines near Gayton.
The development was turned down by East Lindsey District Council in July, but the firm took their case to an independent national planning inspector in a bid to get the decision overturned.
A final verdict is expected shortly.
