Carol concert for Parkinson’s UK Louth & District Branch
The Parkinson’s UK Louth & District Branch held a Carol Concert and Seasonal Miscellany at Trinity Church, Eastgate, Louth which was very well supported.
President of the Branch, Gus Robertson, and Tyna Brych, Regional Manager for the East Midlands area were in attendance.
Tyna was presented with a cheque from the branch for £6,000 to go towards research.
Carols were led by the excellent Linda Hepworth Booth with audience participation and then members and guests were treated to the wonderful soprano voice of Jessica Main.
Further music was provided by Musick Rediscovered, two musicians who play a variety of instruments from the 15th to the 18th centuries who dress appropriately for the period.
Another form of entertainment was provided by members of the branch’s new drama group some of whom read several home grown poems and sketches. Refreshments were of their usual high standard and thanks must go to all who contributed.
