Century of new jobs in Louth area

ONE HUNDRED new jobs are being created, many in the Louth area, in the private care sector.

The Hica Group are recruiting 50 people to support people in their own homes and a further 50 over the next six months as the firm expands its services.

The group provide personal and specialist care and support for people in their own homes, providing short visits right through to round the clock care.

The news will be of a great boost to many jobseekers in the local area.

Last month the UK’s national unemployment rate fell 0.2 per cent to 8.2 per cent for the last quarter.

Hica At Home Managing Director Penni Brown said: “We need the first 50 care workers immediately because we have seen a big increase in demand recently in Lincoln, Louth, Market Rasen and the surrounding villages.

Hica At Home’s Grimsby office currently has 130 staff who look after more than 300 residents throughout Lincolnshire.
